About Calico Junction
With 250 to 300 shop samples featured every week of the year, Calico Junction has become a destination quilt shop sought by many quilters for inspiration. We love Thimbleberries, Alexander Henry, and Hoffman fabrics, and each member of our staff is able to help you make choices from any of our beautiful fabrics for your chosen project. We get excited when customers bring back their finished projects for show and tell.
Calico Junction started as a 400 square foot shop in the small town of Jacksonville, Oregon over 35 years ago. Vickie Kiser purchased it 15 years ago after teaching there for two years. She’s moved the shop twice since purchasing it, and Calico Junction is now located in the historical district of downtown Medford, Oregon. The shop occupies 3000 square feet and boasts approximately 3000 bolts of fabric, hundreds of books and patterns, hundreds of shop models, and the tools and other notions needed to complete the projects we offer. With the renewed interest in quilting and sewing, the tiny shop has matured into a fabric boutique to delight the most discriminating quilter.
We Keep Our Customers Happy!
We asked a few of our customers how they feel about Calico Junction. Our ears are still burning! Here's what they had to say.
I've been coming to Vickie's shop for 14 years taking classes and workshops and retreats. She and her staff are all so knowledgeable in color choices and teaching and it is always fun. I always look forward to Wednesday as my "Calico day".

I am a beginner quilter and this is the best shop I have ever found! The gals are friendly and I get lots of help with color selection and sewing tips.

About 8 months ago my friend, Ann, finally convinced me to conquer my fears and try quilting. I already sewed, but quilting seemed so intimidating. Needless to say, my skills (and my stash) have grown amazingly. Vickie and her staff have taught me so much. The classes are so informative, the girls are so willing to help when I feel lost. And, we do have fun. So-o-o much fun. I think I may just move in.

I have been sewing at Calico Junction for 15 years and I never tire of going there to take classes. The best quilt shop!! Without a doubt!! Great staff, wonderful selection of fabrics, and outstanding models of the patterns available - very motivating. Not to mention Vickie, the owner, who energizes us all to do bigger and better things.

Calico Junction is a fun quilt shop with a friendly, knowledgeable staff and owner. To be at Calico always puts a smile on my face. Everyone there is a joy to be around. The fabrics are superior. Kits and models of projects fill almost every space. Classes are challenging, but again, fun. It is my home away from home and always a great place to be.
